Today we are going to talk about Doodle Island!

The first in Superlude's Doodle Games range, Doodle Islands is a "Roll and Write" game from the same author duo as Avenue.

You will play the role of ambitious ship captains who will travel the sea in search of gold and adventures.

You will trace your way with the end of your pen through archipelagos, treasure islands, monsters, ships, rocks and taverns scattered in the seas!

All this to try to become the richest and receive the title of Queen or Pirate King at the end of your journey!

The adventure map is broken down into a grid where the columns are associated with a black die face and the rows with a white die face.

Each grid cell contains either a sea monster, an island, a pirate ship or "towers".

Each turn, a player will roll one black die and one white die.

The player then selects a white die and must draw a line in the cell corresponding to the black die and the selected white die. You need to connect two sides of the cell (e.g. top left, right left, etc.), but you can choose which sides you want to connect.

You get points each time you: connect a sea monster to an already existing line, connect an island to towers.

If there is already a line where you need to draw, you need to cross a rum bottle instead.

After that, the next player draws a white die, and so on, until all players have done the same.

Then a new turn begins where the player rolling the dice is next in turn order.

You continue to play until a player scores more than 15 points on a single monster, a player scores more than 10 points on a single island, or a player has crossed out all of their rum bottles.

You then add up your points earned with monsters and islands.

And you must add 4 points per connected pirate ships.

The person who went through the most bottles of rum loses a few points and the person who went through the least wins that amount.

Today we are going to talk about Relic Runners!

In Relic Runners, each player embodies a character eager to mine and acquire relics discovered in a lost part of the jungle.

Every budding archaeologist has a colorful past - retired college professor, former army captain, etc. - and wants to be the first to get their hands on the precious loot to earn the most victory points.

Players must navigate a series of paths in order to visit the temples.

Archaeologists are limited in their movements by their access to rations, but fortunately they can place markers on the paths to allow them to travel for free on future turns.

Players also have a toolbox that can be upgraded in three particular ways to somehow break the rules or give them an advantage when moving.

Each time a player visits a temple, they take a token.

Initially, temples offer victory points or some form of in-game bonus.

When the final token is taken, a relic is placed there to be collected.

Players earn big victory points for collecting relics of different types (set collection) and players can also earn bonus points for creating long routes and traveling along them to collect relics.

Today we are going to talk about Reworld!

In Reworld, players attempt to terraform a newly discovered planet, and to do so, they must use terrabots to establish new towns and shuttles to deliver materials that will populate those locations.

In game terms, over five turns, players fill all five levels of their spaceship with tiles depicting terrabots, shuttles, material ships, and satellites.

Each turn twenty of these tiles are randomly placed around the perimeter of a large ship, and each player receives a hand of cards.

On his turn, a player may play one or more cards to claim a tile by following these rules:

• If no tile adjacent to the desired tile has been claimed, the player may lay any card next to that tile, claim it, and then place it in the leftmost space of their spaceship's level that corresponds to the number of the card played. If you play a 4, for example, you must place this tile in the leftmost position of your fourth level.

• If a tile adjacent to the desired tile has been claimed, then you must deposit a card of the same number as the one used to claim this previous tile or two cards of your choice (these two cards thus serving as jokers). The highest number indicates the level of your spaceship on which you must place this tile.

• If both tiles adjacent to the desired tile have been claimed and the cards used to claim them show the same number, then you do as described above. If the cards have different numbers, however - for example, 1 and 3 - then you must set the same two numbers (1 and 3), a matching number and two other cards, or four cards. You place this tile on your spaceship in the same way as previously desired.

Once everyone has no more cards in their hand or can no longer play, the round ends. Any remaining tiles are discarded, then you reset the board and deal a new hand of cards.

After five turns, players now deploy these tiles to the new planet, each turn playing 1-3 of the leftmost tiles of the row of their choice to create their personal terraformed world.

If you deploy a terrabot, which are labeled A-E, you start a new city with that letter or expand an existing city. Material ships, which come in five colors, can only be delivered to the surface of the planet if they are attached to shuttles, and each city can only have ships of one color.

Satellites provide a bonus score when added to a city. Shuttles and satellites can also be used as shields to protect your fledgling planet.

Players earn points during the first half of the game for picking up terrabots and having cards in hand. During the second half, players score for deploying satellites and for achieving goals set at the start of the game, e.g. having a city with eight tiles, having a city of each letter, clearing a level on your spaceship, having a certain number of shields, etc.

Once all spaceships are empty, players score their final points for how well they developed each city and their shields compared to their fellow terraformers.

Whoever scores the most points wins.

Today we are going to talk about Cardline Marvel!

Cardline: Marvel is similar to Cardline: Animals—but with superheroes and other characters from the Marvel Comics universe!

It is a card game that is played with around 100 cards.

Both sides of each card depict a character and their name, while their weight, IQ, and combat ability are printed on only one side of the card.

For each game, players decide before playing which of the three statistics they are comparing.

At the start of the game, each player places a certain number of character cards whose characteristics are hidden on the table in front of them.

A card is placed in the center of the table with its characteristics revealed.

Players then take turns placing a card from their tableau in a row on the table; a player can place a card between two other cards.

After placing the card, the player reveals its characteristics.

If the card was placed correctly - that is, with the particular characteristic in numerical order relative to all other cards on the table - the card remains in place; otherwise the card is removed from play and the player takes another card from the draw pile and adds it to their tableau.

The first player to get rid of all their cards by placing them correctly wins.
