Hello everyone!
Welcome to a new opus of the "Offs du JJV"!
"There is only one heroism in the world: it is to know that the world is as it is and to love it."
It is not always easy to see the positive side in this world where bad news and bad events seem to follow one another...
But if we only focus on what is going badly, then we cannot see that very beautiful people and things surround us.
To honor the memory of my grandmother who passed away at the beginning of the year, I will quote her, because she was always full of common sense.
"We did not always have everything, especially during the war, but we were happy to have our loved ones and our moments to ourselves."
When food was rationed and public balls were forbidden under the occupation, mutual aid allowed my grandparents to meet and create a powerful bond.
My grandparents told me that the war was a difficult context, but that they had met at one of these forbidden balls and that since then they had never left each other despite the difficulties of life at that time.
It is ultimately these moments, good or bad, that shape us and allow us to progress. I remember having suffered for a certain time from the mockery and gratuitous meanness coming from certain people in Vaison because of the store.
And then, since we can't please everyone, I learned to deal with this meanness to appreciate even more these lovely people around me: customers, players, acquaintances, friends and in-laws.
In the end, the world is as it is and even if we can't always appreciate everything that makes it up, we can enjoy the important moments that are offered to us.
