Monopoly Speed is played in less than ten minutes!
Everyone rolls and buys at the same time, so players don't have to wait for their turn.
For four rounds, players race against the clock to buy, trade, and sell properties faster than ever.
The timer counts down each buying and trading step, and there is no pause between steps.
The game board has two GO spaces, and players can get out of jail for free each time.
The game is played with an electronic timer which keeps track of the 2 phases of the game (Buy/Trade).
Each phase lasts approximately 1.5 minutes.
Differences between gambling and standard Monopoly:
Unique monetary denomination ($1000)
Timed game Simultaneous rounds, all players have their own dice
No rent on properties
Objective Cards Alternative Chance and Community Chance Cards
Some locations have been removed.
2 Pass Go spaces.
Players compete to complete the game with the most cash and asset value.
Objectives and property sets gain additional value at the end of the game.
Players: 2 to 4
Minimum playing time: 10 minutes
Age: 8 years and up
