Lost cities rivals
The little extra: place your travel cards to explore as many places as possible before your opponents!
It's time to travel to faraway places again, but in Lost Cities: Rivals, you might find yourself short on cash to take the trips you want!
Players will collect colored expedition cards and place them in ascending order into personal expeditions, optionally placing gamble cards before starting an expedition to increase its value.
The main difference between this title and the others is that you must win auctions to be able to place cards in your expeditions. For each expedition, a player counts the number of footprints on the numbered cards.
If they have a bet in that suit, they double that value; if there are two bets, they triple it; etc.
A player also scores 1 point for each gold coin they hold and 8 points for each expedition containing at least four numbered cards. Whoever has the highest total wins!
Number of players: 2 to 4
Minimum playing time: 40 minutes
Minimum age: 10 years and over
