Curators is a European-style tile-laying game for 1-4 players in which players build museums and their collections to attract visitors. Your job as curator is to expand the museum and its collection.
With the help of your employees, you will build new wings and collect objects to display in the museum. Employees are represented by five tokens which are used to determine the different actions you can take in the game. Select your action from the face-up tokens, turn the token over to show that you have used it.
This will reveal a different action on the other side that you can use later. On the other hand, if you ever have two identical actions on your turn, you can choose to double the bet. This means that in a single turn you can throw two tokens and do double the amount of work.
During the game, you acquire loan contracts for famous objects, such as "a Roman soldier's dice tower" or "the Neanderthal skull", from other museums. To score points for these items, you must complete a tetris-style color and space matching puzzle. At the end of the game, only one museum will be the winner and will win the “Museum of the Year Award”.
