Scott Almes' Silicon Valley puts players in the shoes of budding entrepreneurs who fight to be the first among their competitors to see their start-up valued at $1 billion.
Players hire staff for their start-up to launch new products, with the nature of the products determined by the models you build with polyominoes.
By bringing these products to market, you earn revenue, but other players might copy your product and take some of that money for themselves, thus refining your ideas to steal market share, so to speak.
Along the way, you must acquire funds, hire and fire staff, seek investors, expand your headquarters, and try not to go bankrupt all while striving to become the first company valued at $1 billion, which will bring you victory.
Silicon Valley plays in 60-90 minutes and includes a challenging and innovative single-player mode.
