The Palace and Gardens of Versailles, completed during the reign of Louis XIV of France, are an architectural wonder of the world.
In Versailles, players take on the role of architects and interior designers, working together to build and decorate the entirety of Versailles, vying for the king's favor.
Players take turns moving a worker from one construction site to an adjacent site, thereby activating all workers in the new location.
Despite simple rules, players develop complex strategies, gather resources, build a puzzle-like palace, design impressive decorations and learn new skills, all while awaiting the arrival of Her Majesty.
Number of players: 2 to 5
Minimum playing time: 45 to 75 minutes
