JJV's Offs

On 06/09/2026

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

" Necessity is the mother of invention."

Many great inventions were created because they were useful in everyday life or through serendipitous discoveries. They very often address a daily or temporary need.

I created the in-store and outdoor activity sessions because I knew they could fulfill a need to get together and enjoy good times together… The games aspect was just the icing on the cake.

I realized when I set up the store in Vaison that there wasn't a board game shop, but a whole community that was unaware of its existence. I was very happy, and I still am, to have created the concept of these activities in the area.

When I started with the in-store and outdoor activities, the concept simply didn't exist. It seemed relevant to me because I was certain I would find an audience to bring together to play games.

Now, eight years after opening, I see that the gaming community in Vaison and the surrounding area has grown considerably. So, if I've been able to contribute even a little to that, I'm very happy.

I'm pleased to have been helping spread the world of games here, in France and Europe, for a little over eight years, with classic games, but especially with original games that you can't find everywhere else.

I love introducing people to games that everyone owns, but above all, games that fewer people know, even experienced gamers. Because if passionate gamers don't introduce you to these lesser-known games, who will? No one ;)

Good day and good game! ;)

Imakoo

2 words game Imakoo

On 04/09/2026

Hello everyone !

And today we’re going to talk about Imakoo!

Fans of sudoku and word games, from 1 to 12 players and from 8 years old for 30 minutes, recreate as many words as possible with 4 varied games!

Imakoo offers you a series of illustrations that represent sounds of the French language.

They all work under 4 simple rules:

-Only phonetics count, we don't worry about spelling.

-Verb conjugations are accepted.

-Proper names are prohibited.

-Consonants represent more than one sound.

Play 4 different games: Maximakoo, Dominomakoo, Génimakoo & Speedimakoo!

In Maximakoo, you have to have the last word. In 5 rounds we will create as many words as possible with the cards placed on the table. The player who cannot play takes a penalty. The player with the most penalties loses.

In Dominomakoo, you have to lay down all these cards by creating words with your cards and those from the table in 5 rounds. The player who cannot create words is eliminated and the last player who can pose wins.

In Génimakoo, we find the most words in a grid made up of 12 cards in the center of the table. In 5 rounds, the one who finds the most words wins.

In Speedimakoo, you find as many words as possible in 2 minutes with the 9 cards arranged in the center of the table. The first player to reach 30 points wins the game.

Play word sudoku solo using the game booklets. All together, share a moment around words.

Good day and good game ;)

JJV's Offs

On 30/08/2026

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

" Carnival is a time for music and dance, where people can let loose and enjoy life."

Carnival is a shared moment, a chance to escape the daily grind. A brief respite from lives that are often hectic or fly by.

What I love about organizing events in Vaison, France, and elsewhere is that they allow me to break free from the routine and meet new people.

For me, the more people you meet, the more you can open yourself up to different perspectives and broaden your horizons, interacting with people who are often interesting, sometimes less so. It's the lottery of life…

I'm happy to lead these events and, I hope, make them warm and dynamic, and I try not to rest on my laurels.

I strive to be proactive and offer you original experiences each time. Events lend themselves well to this, as they always put me in contact with a diverse range of people. It stimulates my creativity every day, and my adaptability remains unwavering. I love reinventing myself and always offering you varied and original projects and experiences.

My way of letting go and enjoying life comes from my daily encounters with wonderful people, allowing us to open ourselves up to one another, and with less wonderful people, from whom I learn patience, resilience, and how to rediscover my inner strength.

Letting go also means knowing how to detach ourselves from the opinions and judgments of others and trusting our own judgment. ;)

Good day and good game! ;)

13perfectshot

2 words game Perfect Shot

On 28/08/2026

Hello everyone !

Today we're going to talk about Perfect Shot!

Budding photographers, for 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up, for 20 to 30 minutes, take the best shots to win!

Become the king or queen of the lens and master depth of field!

Each player takes on the role of a photographer trying to capture as many animal photos as possible with their camera and fill as many photo albums as they can, while respecting the album's requirements.

Album requirements can include: different or identical animals, animals from a specific habitat (jungle, ice floe, or mountain), a particular animal, or the Yeti (yes, this strange creature has crashed the party!). Each album awards bonus points when its requirements are met.

To take these photos, you start with a board that displays the different habitats and the animals associated with them. The Yeti is also present but isn't linked to any specific habitat. It acts as a wildcard for habitat requirements. To obtain photo tiles, you must place one of the three landscape tiles in your hand onto the game board without trying to capture it. The animals you wanted to photograph will appear through the holes in the played card.

These holes represent the lenses of your camera. You only need to capture a small piece of an animal to claim your tile. If you are certain you have a complete animal through the hole, you must first announce "Perfect Shot" before placing the tile. If you are correct, you draw a perfect shot tile, with the +2 point side up; otherwise, it will be on its 0 side.

You can only announce a perfect shot twice per game. Don't miss the opportunity to attempt a perfect shot, as these tiles can break ties at the end of the game.

For your photo tiles to count towards points, they must be placed on album cards; otherwise, they are worthless. In turn, the player chooses either to place a landscape card to collect photo tiles or to draw an album card from the face-up cards or the one on the draw pile. Waiting until the last minute to take albums to match our photos isn't always the best solution. As mentioned before, fulfilling the album's requirements earns us extra points (2 to 3 extra per card). But we don't always have the photo tiles we want.

So, filling as many albums as possible without necessarily fulfilling the requirements is a good alternative to still rack up points. The yeti acts as a wildcard for habitat requirements because it doesn't fit into any existing habitat.

However, it earns us 1 point if we manage to fit it entirely into an album, given that it comes in two parts. We also need to have the right parts, because this little trickster doesn't let himself be photographed easily!

Good day and good game ;)

JJV's Offs

On 23/08/2026

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

"Carnival is a place for meeting and sharing, where people can come together and celebrate."

What I love about carnival is that it brings people together through a joyful and colorful atmosphere. We can all party and have fun together.

This is often what happens when I offer you activities that allow you to meet very different kinds of people.

These same differences that I personally find enriching. Because if we were all the same, life would be boring.

What I find in my activities with you is this sharing and this connection that develops beyond our mutual differences.

When I lead or co-lead in France, Italy, or Spain, we often laugh at our cultural differences, which can lead to some funny situations…^^ For example, in Spanish, we say "tonto" (idiot) instead of "tanto" (as much), or in Italian, we say "fica" (the female part) instead of "fico" (fig).

Luckily, I have Italian and Spanish colleagues who understand it's a linguistic slip and gently tease me about it afterward without taking offense…^^

We are all different and have grown up differently. But it's precisely these differences that allow us to open ourselves to others and discover other ways of thinking, broadening our minds. ;)

Good day and good game! ;)

12mascarade

2 words game Mascarade

On 21/08/2026

Hello everyone!

Today we're going to talk about Masquerade! Cunning characters advance through the heart of society, for 2 to 13 players, ages 10 and up, for 30 minutes, without revealing your true colors to win!

Masquerade is a bluffing and character game for 2 to 13 players. Each player has a face-down Character card. During the game, players will switch characters, and no one is ever truly certain which card they have in front of them!

The goal of the game is to use the characters' powers to collect 13 gold coins. However, if a player goes broke, the game ends immediately, and the richest player wins. For your first few games, we recommend 4 to 8 players.

Indeed, with more or fewer players, it's essential to be familiar with the game. Each player starts with 6 gold coins. Throughout the game, the players' fortunes must remain clearly visible.

The remaining money is placed in the center of the table to form the bank. The court is placed a short distance from the bank. For 4 or 5 players, use 6 Character cards. For 6 to 13 players, use as many cards as there are players. Unused cards are returned to the box.

The Character cards are shuffled, and each player receives one card face up in front of them. With 4 or 5 players, the remaining card(s) are placed face up in the center of the table.

Once all players have seen all the cards, they are turned face down. The character markers serve as a memory aid and indicate which characters are present in the game. We recommend placing them next to the court.

The youngest player starts. Play then proceeds clockwise.

From the fifth round onward, the game truly begins. Each player, when their turn comes, must perform one of the following three actions: exchange their card – or not (under the table), secretly look at their card, announce their character and exchange their card – or not. This action allows you to secretly exchange your card with another player's.

Here's how to do it. Take your card in one hand without looking at it. Take another player's card (or a card from the center of the table) in your other hand without looking at it. Under the table, out of sight of all players, you may – or may not – swap the cards. Then take one of the two cards and give the other to the player from whom you took it, or place it back in the center of the table.

Secretly look at your card. This action allows the player to secretly look at their character card. If a player accidentally looks at their card (due to a trade or other reason), they are forced to perform this action during their turn.

Announcing "their" character. This action is the main driving force of the game. It activates the characters' powers. When a player announces they are a character, the other players, starting with the one to their left and proceeding clockwise, have the opportunity to challenge their announcement by claiming to be the same character.

If no one else claims to be the character, the player applies the stated character's power without revealing their card. It is therefore possible to apply the power of any character in play without actually being that character, and even without knowing who you are.

If one or more other players also claim to be that character, all the players involved (the one making the announcement and the claiming player(s)) reveal their cards.

If one of the players is indeed the announced character, they immediately apply that character's power (even outside of their turn). Next, all other players who falsely claimed to be the announced character pay a one-gold-coin fine to the Tribunal.

Finally, all players place their cards face down. As soon as a player has 13 or more gold coins, the game ends and they win. If a player loses their last gold coin, the game ends and the richest player wins. Ties are sometimes possible.

Good day and good game ;)

JJV's Offs

On 16/08/2026

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

Carnival was a true escape from my daily life. That's certainly why people tried to deprive me of those moments of happiness.

When I was away from home, at parties or at friends' houses, I could enjoy a moment of respite. Because, no, a safe and peaceful childhood isn't guaranteed for everyone.

I've experienced things that weren't always easy, which is why I'm happy to see people happy and why I love bringing you good cheer and joy.

Just because someone has had a traumatic past doesn't mean they're condemned to carry that burden with them for the rest of their life. Healing isn't easy, but if we don't, we risk hurting people who only have good intentions towards us… When I'm at outdoor events, I want you to feel free to explore different mechanics and games, like you would with dancing at a carnival, trying out a few steps and getting used to them.

Because then we have the freedom to let go and forget our worries, and that's wonderful! So if I can contribute, on my humble small business scale, to making you smile or even laugh, then I've earned my special moment with you.

Good day and good game! ;)

11moorland

2 words game Moorland

On 14/08/2026

Hello everyone!

Today we're going to talk about Moorland! It's your turn to manage the marshes, for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, for 45 to 60 minutes, to protect them and score the most points!

Peatlands are a little-known ecosystem, yet they are an essential component of our planet and its balance. They cover 3% of the Earth's surface but represent more than 30% of the carbon stored in the soil. Their destruction is therefore a major cause of CO emissions worldwide. They are also a refuge for thousands of different species, often endemic.

The disappearance of a peatland is a huge blow to biodiversity, and therefore to life as we know it. Each player receives a personal player board, which outlines the turn order and final scoring, and allows them to place their cards and certain tokens (excess water and plants). They also receive four peatland tiles, each divided into four zones. The peatland tiles are placed in front of the players, forming a game board of 16 spaces (one per player). The game board will be the same for everyone, randomly determined at the start of the game. It contains 4 pre-filled spaces (each with a stream and a root space) and 12 empty spaces, each with 6 plant spaces.

The swamp cards are then shuffled, along with the plant cards, and both decks are placed face up on the table. Two cards are then removed from the plant deck and returned to the box. At the beginning of each turn, a river will be formed using the swamp cards (one more card than the number of players), and one plant card will be revealed.

The swamp cards contain a stream, which connects the sides of the card, and 1 to 4 plants, which can be withered, rooted, or floating. Some cards also contain animals (beetles, birds, snakes, dragonflies, butterflies, and frogs) and/or water spiders. Pairs of animals will score points at the end of the game, as will having multiple types of animals on your board. Water spiders do not count as animals, but will grant a bonus to the player with the most at the end of the game.

Plant cards usually feature two types of plants, but some feature all four.

On their turn, the active player can perform different actions: Take a card from the river (mandatory), place plant tokens on their board (optional), or place one or more swamp cards on their board (optional). The player takes one of the river cards and places it under their personal board. There can only be two swamp cards under the personal board at the end of the turn. If the player has three cards under their personal board at the end of this action, the "place a swamp card on your board" action becomes mandatory.

The player can take plants of one of the types shown on the active plant card from the reserve. They can then place these plants in a space on their bog board that is not covered by a swamp. Each space has 6 free plant spaces and displays a symbol that indicates the number of plants the player must place during this action (from 1 to 3). Some spaces have a special symbol that allows the player to place a plant of any type during this action.

If there are not enough free spaces on the space to place all the plants, the excess plants will be placed on the player's personal board, reducing their end-game score. The player can place one or more swamp cards on free spaces in their bog. To do so, the space must contain at least the plants indicated on the swamp card. It may contain other plants; this is not a problem. The plants on the space are removed, and the swamp card is placed on the space. The plants are then replaced according to the following rules:

Wilted plants are returned to the main supply. Rooted plants are placed on the swamp card and remain in place. The remaining plants drift to another empty space (or an empty root space) along the watercourse.

If a plant cannot drift, or if there are no more empty spaces, it is considered surplus and placed on the player's personal board.

If the player is the first to cover a space, they gain a water token. Water tokens are worth one victory point or can be spent to move a plant from one empty space to another.

The game ends after 12 rounds. The points are then tallied: 1 point per rooted plant, 1 to 12 points depending on the number of animal species present in the peat bog, 2 points per pair of animals, 1 to 7 points depending on the number of water spiders, 1 point per section of the watercourse.

One point per remaining water token, one point per excess plant. The player with the most points wins.

Good day and good game ;)

JJV's Offs

On 09/08/2026

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

“Carnival is a place for meeting and sharing, where people can come together and celebrate.”

The beauty of carnival lies in the fact that it allows people to share a good time together and celebrate with joy and good cheer. I love these moments when we get together to share joy and good cheer.

Just like games, it allows for this sharing and these wonderful moments of connection between players. I love seeing some of my players who weren't very comfortable playing at first, but who have now gotten the hang of it and are asking for more advanced games.

Seeing my players become more confident, dare to express themselves, and connect with other players is simply wonderful and priceless… I love bringing people together who I know will get along well and create bonds, even friendships, and sometimes even couples during certain activities. <3 :) ;)

That's also why I love offering themed games or activities during our events, tailored to your preferences and current events. For example, on Valentine's Day, I offer games about love based on your skill level.

Creating personalized activities stimulates my creative spirit, and I love it. Sharing unique and unforgettable gaming moments with you brings me immense joy every day.

Good day and good game! ;)

9vampirevillage

2 words game Vampire Village

On 07/08/2026

Today we're going to talk about Vampire Village!

Experienced villagers, for 1 to 5 players, ages 10 and up, for 20 minutes, protect yourselves from the zombies to survive!

Many Creatures lurk in the shadows, watching you. They will wait for nightfall to attack your Village. In Vampire Village, prepare for attacks from all sides. Can you organize your Village's defense to avoid a massacre?

In Vampire Village, the goal is to protect your Village from Creature attacks. A game of Vampire Village is played over two rounds. Each round consists of three phases: the building phase, the creature phase, and the attack phase.

During the building phase, each player selects one Village card and places it face down. They then pass the cards to their neighbor (left for the first round and right for the second). Once all players have chosen, each player reveals their card and places it in their Village, respecting certain rules: a Village card must be adjacent to at least one other Village card, and a Village card cannot exceed four cards in width or height. Two types of cards can be played: a Building or a Hero.

The Creature Phase takes place over two rounds. Each round, each player draws three cards. They give one to the player on their left, one to the player on their right, and keep one face down for themselves. Once all players have distributed their cards, each player reveals their three cards and places them around their Village according to the Creature type: Witches are placed on the left, Werewolves above the Village, Vampires on the right, and Demons below the Village. This Phase ends after both rounds have been completed.

The Attack Phase is played simultaneously. Each Village is attacked by Creatures, which are placed around it, starting with Demons and continuing in the order determined by the tiles laid out at the beginning of the game.

Threat tokens can be used to indicate the Attack value. To resolve an Attack, the Attack value of all Creatures of the same type must be calculated. Next, you must calculate the cards in the row or column closest to the Creatures participating in the Defense.

– If the Attack value is less than or equal to the Village's Defense, the Creatures are repelled. Leave the cards in place for the next round.

– However, if the Attack value is greater than the Village's Defense, one of the Creatures enters the Village. At that point, you must destroy a Village card in the attacked row or column. All Villagers on that card are destroyed.

The weakest Creature is destroyed. When a Hero card is destroyed, if it has the icon corresponding to the Creature type, the player can destroy any Creature card from among the Attackers. If any Creatures remain, you must make another Attack, and continue until the Attack value becomes less than or equal to the Village's Defense.

The game ends after 2 rounds. Each Creature and each Villager counts as 1 point. The player with the most points wins the game.

Good day and good game ;)

JJV's Offs

On 02/08/2026

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

What I appreciate about the carnival is that it allows people to express their creativity, letting their imagination and joie de vivre guide them.

It's also something you find with board games when you play them often. You get used to the rules and sometimes bend them a little.

I'm thinking, for example, of a classic like Uno, where we've all known the basic rules at some point, but where we've all (or almost all) taken liberties with them…

Like, for example, stacking +2s or +4s, even though the basic rules don't allow it… Admit it, we've all, or almost all, done it…^^

When I see my players adapting the rules of certain games to make them more strategic, I tell myself that my goal of developing the board game scene in Vaison and the surrounding area has been achieved. When you see that initially, some people didn't play much, and now they're quite comfortable with the basic rules. I'm quite comfortable adapting the rules and making the games more strategic or simpler depending on who I'm playing with. I also sometimes adapt the rules to make them more accessible and then develop them to higher levels of difficulty later on. Because I often like to offer you little challenges. ;) Games are a great, evolving tool for constantly reinventing yourself, and that's what makes them so interesting. :)

Good day and good game! ;)

9hats

2 words game Hats

On 31/07/2026

Today we're going to talk about Hats!

Hat collectors, for 2 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, for 20 to 30 minutes. Collect the most hats to win!

It's teatime! The Mad Hatter awaits you. The table is set, the cookies have a delicate buttery taste, and the tea exudes a powerful, spicy aroma. The Mad Hatter gazes at you curiously. "Yes, please..." He interrupts. Around you, sugar, cookies, and millions of hats swirl in the air. Tea spills onto the tablecloth, and a mischievous grin lights up the Hatter's face.

In Hats, collect the most outlandish hats! Swap your cards wisely, but beware, because each swap changes how points are tallied at the end of the game. On their turn, each player performs one of two actions: swapping hats or creating black hats.

When swapping hats, the player exchanges a card from their hand with a card from the board. The card is placed face up. One of the following conditions must be met: the two exchanged cards are of the same type (same color), or the number on the card played by the player is higher than the number on the card they take from the tea tray.

The card thus taken by the player is placed face up in front of them. It is now part of their collection. Cards can only be exchanged from the tea tray.

When creating a black hat, the player places a card face down in front of them to add it to their collection. This card is considered a black hat. At the end of the game, each black hat in a player's collection is worth one point.

At any time during their turn, a player may discard any card and replace it with the top card of the draw pile. Discarded cards are placed face down near the draw pile. If the draw pile is empty, replenish it by shuffling the discard pile.

In a four-player game, the rules are the same, except that players form teams of two. Sit around the table so that the teams alternate (each player must sit between two opponents).

Instead of discarding a card to draw one from the deck, a player can—at any time during their turn—exchange a face-down card with their teammate. Players can discuss the exchange, but they cannot reveal the type, color, or value of the cards being exchanged.

The game ends when all players have played eight cards. Each player reveals the last card in their hand: this is their favorite type of hat. Then, if there are several cards of the same type on the tea tray, turn over all the cards of that type except for the one in the lowest-value space.

Finally, use the scoring napkin to calculate the players' scores in each category:

Players earn points for each card in their collection, based on the card's position on the board. For example, if a red card is in the space corresponding to the number 3, each red card in a player's collection is worth 3 points.

Each black hat is worth 1 point. Face-down cards on the tea tray are worth no points. Cards of a type not present on the board are worth no points.

Add up the values of the cards in your collection that match your favorite hat type. Subtract the value of the card remaining in your hand to get the score for that category (it can be negative). The card remaining in your hand is not part of your collection.

There is only one cookie on the table. To get this cookie, collect as many different types of cards as possible. Black hats count as one type.

Throughout the game, pass the cookie to the player whose collection contains the most different types of cards. In case of a tie, the player with the lowest-value card in their collection takes the cookie.

If the tie persists, compare the value of the second-lowest card, then the third, and so on, until a winner is determined. The cookie awards 5 points to its holder at the end of the game.

The player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, the player with the most black hats in their collection wins. If the tie persists, the winner is the player who held the cookie.

For the final scoring with 4 players, calculate each player's score and add the scores of all team members to obtain that team's final score.

Good day and good game ;)

JJV's Offs

On 26/07/2026

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

"Carnival is a time of magic and dreams, where people can let themselves be carried away by the music and dance."

At carnival, there's always a great rhythm and musicians and dancers who sweep us away with the songs. A unique moment that we share together, whether in costume and mask or not, but always in good spirits. I loved seeing people's smiles and the children's wonder at the costumes, the floats, the music, and the overall atmosphere.

Getting people to sing and dance while our dance band performed was always a small victory for me. There weren't all the controversies of today, and we just enjoyed a moment of music and dance together.

This is what I try to continue with the store and the game events, bringing you original games and my good humor to share good times playing games with you.

I try to stay positive even though some people don't make things easy every day. But after all, you can only give what you have. It's so sad to see that these people feel compelled to hurt others to make themselves feel important… I absolutely do not want to be like these people and carry the burden of meanness and hatred. That's why I remain respectful. This world is already sometimes so heavy and complicated, so adding to it with hatred or malice is completely beyond me.

So, as long as I can, I will try to bring you even just a smile, or even make you laugh, so that the things of everyday life are a little less heavy to bear. It's not much, but sometimes a small gesture, a smile, or even a kind word can change everything. ;)

Good day and good game! ;)

8maitrerenard

2 words game Master Fox

On 24/07/2026

Amateur Thieves, for 2 to 4 players, ages 7 and up, for 20 minutes. It's up to you to use your cunning to win the most eggs!

Master Fox, the famous fox, wants to take a vacation far from his Grisbois estate. But before leaving, he will choose a replacement from among the most intrepid thieves in the forest. To prove your worth, you will have to complete the missions entrusted to you by the illustrious rogue and bring back the biggest possible haul from the neighboring farm.

The first player to collect 10 Egg tokens wins the game and becomes the new Master Fox. For experienced players, increase this objective to 15 tokens.

Draw 3 Mission cards and place them face up on the table. These will be the objectives for your night of thievery; everyone must clearly identify them. Each player must collect one Loot token per card.

The oldest player shakes the box to shuffle the tokens. Pull your masks down over your faces so you can't see anything. The player who shook the box removes the lid, then counts to three, signaling the start of the round.

Each new round, you will draw 3 new cards and place them on top of the previous cards. Every three rounds, you will draw only 2 cards, and the draw pile will be empty. The uncovered card is always part of the round's mission.

On the following round, shuffle all the cards together and create a new draw pile. To capture the loot: using only one of your hands (the "capture" hand), you must grab the loot tokens corresponding to this round's mission, one by one, and place them safely in your other hand, which serves as your bag. You can return any loot you've captured to the box, but you can't have more than four Loot and/or Trick tokens in your bag (there isn't enough room!).

As soon as a player has at least three loot tokens in their bag, they can say "STOP!" Everyone stops playing, and the players lift their masks. If you have a Loot token in your captured hand, return it to the box and count the points.

To represent the points they just earned, each player takes the equivalent in Egg tokens, worth 1 or 3 points. Trick tokens are introduced throughout the game. There are none during the first round.

Warning! You must never have more than one Trick token in your bag. If you do, when it's time to score for the round, the player in question loses 1 point, and none of their Trick tokens have any effect. Starting in the second round, you will add Cunning tokens (Fox, Snake, and Hammer). These remain until the end of the game.

During round 2, add the two Fox tokens to the box. During scoring, a Fox earns you one additional point. During round 3, add the two Snake tokens to the box. During scoring, a Snake allows you to steal loot of your choice from an opponent's bag before the points are tallied.

If two players have a Snake, the player with the most points steals first. If the score remains tied, the older player steals first. You cannot steal a Cunning token.

During round 4, add the Hammer token to the box. During scoring, the Hammer will protect you from players who have collected a Snake token, preventing them from stealing from you. The game ends as soon as a player has collected at least 10 eggs (15 in "experienced" mode). The player who has collected the most eggs wins the game; in case of a tie, the youngest player wins.

JJV's Offs

On 19/07/2026

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV Offs"!

" I love carnival, it’s a time of celebration and entertainment that thrills me."

Since my childhood, when I was part of the dancing group that I then trained from the age of 14, I loved dancing parades. Carnivals or village festivals, I loved contributing to a warm and colorful atmosphere. It was one of the rare moments where, for the sake of appearance, I could have a normal childhood with my friends from the club.

Even though I was closely monitored so as not to talk about what was happening at home, I could find moments when I was still allowed to behave like a normal child. Good times from this dancing group which allowed me to make friends and see that childhood is not just about being belittled, humiliated or beaten up.

I was lucky in my life to meet wonderful people who allowed me to understand at a young age that what was happening in the family was not normal and to get out of it to have respite and live normally. My best solution for leaving as soon as possible without risking passing was to keep quiet so as not to attract additional wrath and to leave as early as I could. From a very young age, I quickly understood that I didn't count and that I was clearly too much.

It took me a long time to start getting over it and being able to talk about it. But I am not the only one to have experienced such events. I was ashamed and felt worthless. But it is not our place to be ashamed of the wounds inflicted on us. That's why now I'm happy to share good times with you and good discussions in my everyday life.

Carnival or parties allow me, like games, to escape for a moment like they did when I was a child and teenager. The beauty of games is that they allow you to open up to others via a common base. This is what I humbly try to offer to little ones who sometimes experienced things similar to my childhood. I don't understand how you can harm an innocent being like a child, even your own child...

I'm happy to see them enjoy a moment where they forget what they've been through and find a smile again for a moment. When I was asked if I wanted to participate in these moments through games with them, I accepted without thinking and I have no regrets. For them I am “the fairy of smiles”, for me they are the “little elves of hope”.

I have hope for them that they too can build themselves despite their past and not become broken adults who no longer believe in anything. I love seeing them smile, hearing them laugh, seeing them play and simply enjoying life innocently as they deserve. So if I can continue to be a moment of respite, complicity and joy for them for a moment, I will continue to be so with pleasure and determination.

Good day and good game! ;)

7opusmagnum

2 words game Magnum Opus

On 17/07/2026

Hello everyone!

Today we're going to talk about Magnum Opus!

Seasoned alchemists and their curious friends, for 2 to 5 players, ages 12 and up, for 30 minutes, it's up to you to find the Magnum Opus!

Welcome to Prague, the capital of the occult arts! Among the alchemists and various personalities who mingle, become a patron or a renowned alchemist.

Play as an alchemist who has come to Prague to gather the alchemical components necessary to create one or two formulas for their Magnum Opus. Each component acquired, each formula completed, and each pair of components found earns prestige points. A game consists of 5 rounds, each played in the same way.

The supply phase involves 3 to 5 players drawing 2 alchemical component tokens (only 1 for 2 players) and placing them on the Golden Lane. A third token is added, revealed during the setup phase from left to right. Then, 3 alchemical component tokens are placed on the Astronomical Clock Square.

The solicitation phase begins when each player chooses one of the personality cards from their hand and places it face down in front of them. The deck under the ouberos is not looked at.

Players without the ouberos pass their card decks to their right-hand neighbor during rounds 1, 3, and 5, and to their left-hand neighbor during rounds 2 and 4. The player with the ouberos passes their deck to their neighbor but takes their neighbor's deck and places it under the ouberos.

The card placed in front of each player is then revealed. These cards are then placed in front of the players in each round, grouped by character type and number, until a player has six cards in front of them. At this point, no more personality cards are transferred.

The game then moves to the patronage phase, where players gain advantages based on the majority of personality cards. The player with the ouberos calls out each character number. The player with the most coins each round wins that group of personalities and any associated coins.

The player can then use the favor associated with the personality. If there is a tie, the players share the coins but cannot use the personality's favor or go to the Astronomical Clock Plaza.

Cards 1 through 6 indicate alchemical components. The player can then choose not to use the personality's favor and buy an alchemical component from the Astronomical Clock Plaza for 3 silver tokens. A personality's favor can only be used once and on a higher personality value. The next round is then set up.

At the end of the 5th round, the game ends as soon as there are no more alchemical components to buy. Each player then reveals their Magnum Opus card. He scores 1 prestige point per alchemical ingredient collected, 1 point per pair of components in sight, and 2 additional prestige points per completed formula.

The player with the most prestige points wins.

Good day and good game ;)

2 words game Chazz

Hello everyone!

Today we're going to talk about Monster Café!

It's up to you to leave your mark, for 4 to 8 players and from 6 years old for 20 minutes, to control the territory!

An adaptation of the classic game of musical chairs with new objectives. Based on the principle of musical chairs, Chazz invites you to play as cats battling to expand their territories.

The mechanics of musical chairs remain the same: players must sit around the table at a signal, but if there's a chair missing, one player will have to stand. To win the game, you must control two territories, meaning two seats, each with a set of three different cards.

Each player has a set of cards in their color, divided into three types: Spit, Scratch, or Rub. The leader of the round gives the signal to sit by shouting one of these three words. Players who manage to find their seats can then play one of their cards with the word chosen by the leader. If a card of that type is already there, the player doesn't play a card.

If a player no longer has a card of that type in their hand, they can move one previously placed in that spot. As soon as a player plays a complete set of 3 cards, they claim the location.

When they claim 2 locations, they win the game. But be careful! If another player plays a set on top of yours before you've played your second set, they'll steal your spot.

Good day and good game ;)
